Doors lead to outdoor amenities, including a fenced-in, private pool with outdoor furniture and a hot tub for soothing soaks under star-filled skies. Two outdoor showers provide hot water for rinsing after beach time adventures.

Level 2:

4 bedrooms (2 with Kings, TV, and private bath - 1 offers direct access to the covered deck; 1 with Queen, TV and access to covered deck; 1 with 2 Twin bunk sets with TV); shared full bath; laundry.

Level 3:

Bedroom (with King, 32” flat screen TV, sundeck access and private bath with dual sink vanity, walk-in spa shower with bench and dual shower heads); living room, kitchen and dining areas combine to create an open and spacious family gathering space. A comfortable sectional is nestled around a 50” HDTV and seasonal fireplace; dining table to seat 10; kitchen with bar seating for 6; half bath and access to a wide sundeck to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and ocean breezes.

Don’t miss out on “Hank’s Hideaway,” where location is key. It’s just a quick ride to Duck Village where you can walk the soundside boardwalk and visit many quaint village shops and eateries. For the more adventurous, the Currituck lighthouse in Corolla is open for climbing daily from late March through November. Or take a drive south to visit the Wright Brothers’ Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, the site of the first powered flight, or Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head, the largest sand dune on the east coast.

We have spent many years trying to find the perfect rental, on a great street. We have finally found it! Hank's Hideaway is extremely well cared for by its owners and well laid out. The inviting and open floor plan is enjoyed by all (think white cabinets, granite countertops with bar seating, large flat screen). The kitchen is well stocked and all of the appliances work - which is something we have not had in other rental homes! There is also a gas stove and a gas grill - these are true luxuries in a rental home. The mattresses are new! The primary bathroom is luxurious! Outdoors - the pool area has a large grass section in the fenced area, making it large. Overall, we cannot wait to return for two weeks next summer!

Extremely well thought out house! We adored the layout, the upgrades, the gas stove, gas grill, grassy area by the pool, and just the overall care and love that the owners clearly put into their home. The kitchen was well stocked and all of the appliances worked - which is something that we have not had in other homes we have rented. The dog friendliness is also appreciated with all of the gates on the second floor. Our vacations to OBX is centered around our Labradors so we appreciate it!

We loved your nicely appointed house! You have just everything in the kitchen. We bought a key lime pie and wondered, "Is there a pie server?" Yup. We bought some shrimp to steam and wondered, "Is there a steamer?" Yup. Salad tongs? Yup. Something to make sun tea? Yup. Everything our family needed.

Upgrades made by owners since last year are great. Comfortable home, great for dog with fenced-in back yard. Only recommendation would be to provide beach chairs, umbrella for use, and to have tea kettle in kitchen.
