The Outer Banks went to Charlotte, NC!

Southern Shores Realty's marketing department took a trip to Charlotte, NC this week for a Social Media conference. This means more goodies for you in the near future, better and FASTER results, and well, more fun for us all on the web through our favorite networks. We want to let you in on some of the fun, and our most interesting stops throughout the week. If you have already liked our FB page, then you know that we searched for the infamous OBX stickers the entire time we were in Charlotte. I was surprised that we didn't spot a single one. Thanks to all who joined in on the game, and let us know where you spot them the most! Anyways, here is some of the insight from our trip. You are going to have to find out the juicy details from the conference by following us in the future, I can't just spill it all out right here! That is just no fun, but what I can tell you is that we took in a lot of new information that will make YOUR experience with us online a better one. Southern Shores Realty is very excited to start applying the new perks associated with social media that will enhance every bit of what we do for you, and what you do for us. Yes, your part counts! One of the most exciting parts of the trip was meeting Trevor Bayne, the youngest NASCAR driver to win the Daytona 500 race held in Florida every year. He talked about his own experience on the web with his fans, and how great it feels to communicate first hand with them. We couldn't agree more! Along with meeting Trevor Bayne this past week, we discovered one of the most uplifting, inspiring restaurants we have EVER been to. Located in the center of downtown Charlotte is The Kings Kitchen which serves up southern cuisine with proceeds going back into the community to help feed those in need. Not only does this not-for-profit restaurant give back to the community, they work together with businesses, ministries, 0ther non-profits, and people of faith to employ. Here at Southern Shores Realty, we completely support what The Kings Kitchen is all about, giving to their community, helping those in need, and pushing them further into a BRIGHT future. Thank goodness we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant which in fact was the BEST meal we had the entire week. If you are ever in Charlotte, North Carolina, don't hesitate to dine at this southern non-profit organization! We can't wait to start applying these new skills! Stay on the look out, and don't be scared to interact with Southern Shores Realty to get the OBX latest happenings! Thanks fans, guests, and owners... we appreciate you!
