Southern Shores Realty is a proud Alto Sponsor of the 6th Annual Town of Duck Jazz Festival, being held this year on Sunday, October 7. Located at Duck Town Park on1200 Duck Road, this is a FREE, all-dayOuter Banks event that begins at 11:00am with gates opening at 10:00am. All week long, the town ofduck celebrates the Jazz Festival with activities that can be found here - Town of Duck Jazz Week Events.This year's scheduled jazz artists include:
11:00 a.m.:Emme St. James and Her Jazz Gentlemen
12:15 p.m.:The Fuzz Band
2:15 p.m.:Paula Atherton
4:15 p.m.:The Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman
This is an all-day, community event and several local restaurants will be represented and vending food at the picnic shelter. The restaurants include:Aqua Restaurant,Dockside N Duck Seafood Market, and Sooeys BBQ & Rib Shack. Make sure you head out to enjoy the music AND the food!
Picnics, chairs, blankets, and drinks are welcome. Chairs will be available for rent if you do not have any to bring. No beach umbrellas or tents are permitted at the event. Please keep in mind the park and all Duck Jazz Festival facilities are smoke-free. All events/performers/schedule are subject to change and are weather dependent.
